Printrooms Online Portal : public collections of graphic art (drawings and prints)
The institutions are hyperlinked (as far as possible) to their online collection databases and online collection catalogues.
If you put this page under your favourites you will always have this quick access to the world’s P&D databases, which are often well hidden or even untraceable in their institutions’ websites.
Please note that hyperlinks may turn outdated and broken after some time, especially when websites are reorganized; please inform us of any dead links, as well as of overlooked useful websites.
The German printrooms have their own website (Netzwerk Graphische Sammlungen) with an overview of participating museums.

A very practical general database is Graphikportal der Kunst und Architektur, a portal created by Bildarchiv Foto Marburg covering the holdings of dozens of printrooms in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as the photo archives of the German institutes in Florence (KHI) and Rome (Herziana). With an introduction in English.
The French have Joconde, Portal of the museum collections of France.
