Peter Paul Rubens: the Roman drawings after antique sculpture
A specialist seminar on the three hitherto unknown drawings by Rubens, copies after antique sculpture, which were recently discovered in the Print Room of the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum – Fondation Corboud, organized by this recently enlarged museum and the Wetenschappelijke Onderzoeksgemeenschap Vlaamse Renaissance- en Barokkunst (based in Leuven and Antwerp). Several specialists in the field of Flemish Old Master Drawings will be present, among whom Prof. Hans Vlieghe, Prof. Müller-Hofstede, Dr. Anne-Marie Logan, Dr. Büttner and Dr. Heinen.
