Abbreviations and phrases on printed images 1500-1900’, referring to a pdf document with an updated version of Appendix 3 in his Ph.D. thesis Engraving and Etching 1400–2000. A History of the Development of Manual Intaglio Printmaking Processes (2002), with a reference to our website.
